Game overview

Rotate Bridge is a rescue puzzle where the bridge is already built and the problem is aiming it. Each level gives you a span that pivots, and you have to swing it until it lands on solid ground rather than dropping into a cave or the sea, because only a properly seated bridge carries the people waiting to cross. The more of them you get across, the higher the score, so the levels reward a moment of judgement over a fast tap.

This title is best suited to players who want short, satisfying physics puzzles.

How to play Rotate Bridge

  1. Look at where the far end of the bridge needs to land
  2. Rotate the span until it points at solid ground
  3. Drop the bridge and let the people cross
  4. Rescue as many as possible for a higher score

  • Tap / left mouse button: Rotate the bridge span
  • Release: Drop the bridge into place

Tips for Rotate Bridge

  • Watch the ground rather than the bridge while judging the angle
  • Aim for the middle of a flat stretch, not the edge of it
  • Drop early rather than late, since the span keeps turning as you decide

What worked well and what did not

Pros

  • Simple idea with genuine judgement in it
  • Levels are quick to retry

Cons

  • Later levels repeat the same trick
  • Little variety in the terrain
