Plant Extract

Plant Extract is a crushing game with nothing to solve. Objects go under the press, the press comes down, and the pleasure is watching them give way in the way materials do: some split cleanly, others squash and spread. There is no score chasing you and no timer, so it works as something to keep hands busy for a few minutes rather than a challenge, which is exactly what it sets out to be.

This title is best suited to a short, calming distraction with nothing to win.

1. Choose an object to place under the press
2. Bring the press down onto it
3. Watch how the material splits or squashes
4. Clear the plate and load the next object

• Tap / left mouse button: Place an object and operate the press
• Drag: Move objects on and off the plate

• Nothing can be lost, since there is no score or timer

• Press-based crushing
• Materials that break in different ways
• Open play with no goals

• Try the softer materials to see how differently they behave
• Centre an object on the plate for the cleanest break
• Play with sound on, since the effects carry most of the appeal
